About Chocolate Café

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Chocolate Café at (614) 695-6949; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. The cashier Makayla and the nice girl making drinks (didn't get her name) were very accommodating. The girl making the coffee drinks even asked me how sweet I normally like my coffee, which was a nice touch. I asked for a recommendation for an iced drink and they suggested cookie butter, which I normally hate, but they were confident I'd probably like theirs. They were right. It came out fantastic. Thanks to the both of them. Very friendly and deserve a raise for their helpfulness for a first time customer.

Meeting the owner, she joked that she’s “a little crazy” — but the only crazy thing about this place is how unbelievably good everything is. From the sandwiches and soups to the endless lineup of desserts, every bite was fantastic. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And to top it all off, don’t skip the mimosa flight or one of their homemade coffees. This spot is an absolute gem.

We just stopped for dessert. The chocolate covered stawberry and cherry was fabulous. The marscapone cake looked crumbly but was so moist. The chocolate cake was moist and rich and tne coffee paired very well. The oatmeal pie was very cinnamon forward Liked it so much we had to go back the next day.

As always, I got a chocolate martini. Yummy 😋 I also got a breakfast wrap - quite tasty Update: I took my son and his fiance today for a nice snowy treat at the Chocolate Cafe and had a lovely brunch. I tried the hangover sandwich this time and loved it. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Service to the table is awesome and they all pitch in to help run food to tables. I love the wholistic approach to working tables.
